ARE WE THERE YET?!
4 states in 2 days.
(12 states in 4 days for me)
20 minutes till Fargo!
Also, people in North Dakota don’t eat.
Ever, apparently.
To put it simply: today was the greatest day of my life, thus far.
Clearly, I met Sasha Alexander today.
But let’s start from the beginning.
On Sunday, my best friend sent me a text telling me Jessica Capshaw was going to be on The View & The Chew this week and that she could probably get tickets to The Chew, and that I needed to come with her.
I don’t think either of us expected me to actually do it.
After rearranging my work schedule and other travel plans for this weekend, I hopped in the car yesterday afternoon, drove 18 hours to meet my el-biff and we headed into New York City.
Our first stop? The Chew.
I won’t go into all the details, it’s her story to tell and she will be posting about it herself, but long story short, we almost didn’t get in, I about had a mental breakdown, but then we found out we were going to be able to get in after all, since she got Daphne Oz to get the tickets for her and we actually ended up being her personal guests today!
So the show starts and they get to the part where Jessica comes out. OH. MY. GOD. I about lost it. I was freaking out. I was in the same room with Jessica Capshaw! And oh my gosh, she is even prettier in person and she was cute and adorable and lovely and just wonderful. She killed it today. But I’m sure you all will be watching that tomorrow, so I don’t need to tell you about that.
After The Chew, we were trying to figure out what we wanted to do. All we knew is, we wanted to be where Sasha was.
So we got in a cab, drove across town and found the restaurant where we knew she was (or at least had been). There were a few people standing outside with cameras, so we felt some hope that maybe we could still see her.
We ended up next to a few Rizzoli & Isles fans and when we asked if anyone had come out, the first thing they said was “Angie came out earlier-” and Mel and I immediately cut them off (and probably kind of screamed at them) “WHAT ABOUT SASHA?”
They assured us that Sasha hadn’t come out yet.
So we waited.
Not five minutes later, who walks out the door, but ERIC DANE. We both let out a little squeal and he walked over to us, he gave me a little hug and I asked for a picture, he said of course.
Then some more people came out, most I didn’t recognize, to be honest, Eric McCormack was one of them. And we spotted Conan at one point, but none of them came over to our side.
Then, we about died.
Out walked Sasha!
We fangirled. Hard.
She waved to us and we tried to wave her over, but she said she was in a hurry and didn’t have time. But then a few minutes later (how did we not scare her away?) she came walking over and she stopped and took a picture with just Mel and I.
And then I told her about how I drove 18 hours to get here and she goes, “Oh my gosh, really?! You’re crazy!”
Yes, yes, I am.
But it was so worth it. Today was the most perfect day. I never thought when I got up this morning (or actually, I drove all night, so when I got up yesterday morning) that I would meet Sasha today.
I seriously don’t have the words to describe how wonderful today was, but it was so perfect.
I couldn’t have asked for a better day, or a better person to spend it with.
More to come later once I’m at my laptop.
But you know those things that you daydream about, but you never, ever think there is even a slim possibility of them happening?
Yeah, they happened today.
![I love my life.
I know I may complain about things a lot sometimes, but seriously, I’m a pretty lucky girl.
I love that I have the kind of life where I can say “I’m want to go to New York tomorrow” and then just get in the car and go.
Not everyone has that luxury and I am completely aware of that. And I want to appreciate every second of it.
Currently I’m just outside of Louisville, headed east, and tomorrow I will have the best day in New York City with my best friend.
Also, can I just say my best friend Melissa really is the best. Seriously. Be jealous.
[Also, my soulmate Melissa is pretty awesome too. Don’t want her to feel left out. ;) ]

T minus 12.5 hours!

Today is an ending.
But also a beginning.
In the last five years, I have been through more than I ever thought possible in such a short amount of time.
I have made friends, I have lost friends.
I have lost weight, I have gained weight.
I have found love, I have lost love.
I have had all nighters and worked like crazy and travelled the country and had the best and worst experiences.
But most importantly, I have found myself.
Five years ago, I had no clue what I wanted out of life. And part of me still doesn’t, but I do know what I want right now.
It may not make sense to most people, it may not be what most would consider the smart choice, but I think it’s right for me.
Today, I start a new chapter.
And you know what?
I’m so freaking excited to see what’s in store.

Brunch with the tumblr girls! Me, Bailee, Holli, and Lindsay.
Lindsay finally got to eat, about 10 minutes after we got our food. And then the waitress tried to make her pay the entire check! Not cool lady, not cool at all!
Happy Marathon weekend!
Castle is on Monday nights. You should really know that by now.
But don’t worry, you’ll be getting your weekly twitter update in a couple days.
I know you’re really concerned about it.

Hey, guys!
Long time, no update, I know. Things have been SO crazy for me lately.
School is finally wrapping up though (I can’t believe I graduate in 8 DAYS) and I just came from a job interview.
Though it was a lot less job interview, a lot more what’s it going to take to get you to work here.
Which is flattering.
I just have so much on my mind though, I’ve had a hard time sorting through everything.
But I think after Monday, once my gallery show is set up, homework is done, everything is good to go, I should be able to think about other things and hopefully make a decision.
Who knew having options was this hard?
But for the next couple days, I’m going to try my best to forget about it all.
I’m on my way to Lincoln right now to run the half there on Sunday.
Lets not talk about how I said I was going to actually train for this one.
I think we both know how that one went.
But I’m super excited to hang out with Lindsay and Melissa again, an whoever else will be there.
Going to be an awesome weekend!
